While we are battling out the next few months of seemingly cold weather I know a lot of us have spring on the brain. Today I pulled together some simple looks that show how you can wear pieces now and later. For both winter AND for spring. This time of year I’m on the lookout for pieces that can work now and also work for early spring and even into warmer months. I hope you find these NOW & LATER looks to be inspirational!
I love this simple beige ribbed sweater. It’s super versatile for now or for early spring…
For now wear it with: quilted puffer coat, leggings, ugg boots, hat
For later wear it with: white jeans, sandals, quilted handbag, sunglasses
This green/white stripe top is super versatile for layering now or wearing on it’s own later.
For now wear it with: cable knit cardigan, skinny jeans, knee boots
For later wear it with: denim shorts, sneakers, straw tote, necklace
A sweater blazer is a versatile year-long piece for a simple and classic look.
For now wear it with: white crewneck sweater, black jeans, Chelsea boots, hoop earrings
For later wear it with: blue jeans, braided sandals, tote, blue t-shirt, sunglasses
Anyone else feel like January is never ending at this point? Wow. It’s just going on and on. I’m eager to get past these last months of winter and move on to spring. Like, extremely eager. These fun pastel hues are the perfect inspiration for the end of January. These pieces work now for chilly temps but definitely hint at spring in a MUCH needed way. I’m excited to add some freshness to my closet right now and there is so much good inspiration here!
blue white stripe blouse, lilac fleece pullover, light pink leggings, suede pink sneakers, pink sweatshirt, cream jeans, blue Veja sneakers, woven cross body bag, crochet cardigan, love tee, turquoise hoop earrings, floral headband
The dead of winter is the perfect time to stock up on some essentials and wardrobe staples. Today I rounded up some items I either have my eye on right now or that I’ve recently purchased and LOVE. Simple classics that are comfortable are my favorite year round, but especially this time of year when getting dressed isn’t nearly as fun as it can be in the summer and fall. Let’s take a look at the pieces…
Mood: Craving a crisp and feminine blouse right now.
It’s that time of year when everyone is heading somewhere warm to escape the cold winter! I’ve gotten lots of reader requests for warm weather vacation wear and today I am delivering….
Today I focused mostly on swim looks with outfits that work for the beach or pool whether you are escaping on a couples only trip or taking the entire family. All of these looks are focused on style and comfort while on the beach or at the pool. I hope you find lots of inspiration here… I know I am ready to book a trip ASAP.
Today I am rounding up TONS of my Everlane favorites… from sweater to tees to leggings I just love Everlane’s simple and classic wardrobe basics. There is a balance of some investment pieces with some really affordable pieces here and all of them are super high quality. I’ve owned some of these Everlane pieces for many years and some are newer to me. I’m always impressed by Everlane’s quality and that their pieces never seem to go out of style.
For 24 hours only they have 25% off regular priced items sitewide… they RARELY do sales like this. I think the last one was 2 years ago! So super rare and it’s a great time to invest in some really quality basics for your closet that will last for many, many seasons to come. Let’s take a look at some of my long time favorites…
Today I’ve got a round up of inspiration from Instagram lately… I love pulling these posts together to see all the recent looks in one place. It makes for such good inspiration for daily outfits, especially this time of year when it’s so cold and it’s difficult to feel inspired.
I’ve really been trying to get dressed everyday even with the bad weather we have had that has kept us mostly home and indoors. It helps my mental attitude to get ready and be dressed everyday. Plus, let’s be honest, it makes slipping into pjs or sweats at the end of the day that much more of a prize!
Hopefully some of these looks inspire you this month…
(above) Sneakers and a puff sleeve sweatshirt are a great everyday look for keeping it casual but feeling pulled together.
(above) I’m loving blue hues for winter because they work so well right now and will work for spring too. It’s such a versatile color.
(above) Both of these Amazon sweaters have been two of my favorites this season. They are SO pretty and high quality in person.
(above) I can’t resist a half zip fleece this time of year. Perfect for wearing around the house on ultra cold days or with layers for running errands on milder days. This one is so soft and affordable too!
(above) This super affordable cashmere is on serious repeat lately. The price is SO good and the quality is great. It’s actually one of the thicker cashmere sweaters I own. This sweater makes any outfit feel instantly pulled together.
(above) Anyone else on a daily sweater and jean rotation? I mean, I LOVE sweaters. And I’m not even sick of them (yet) this winter! These are some of my favorites!

I love the promise of a fresh start that January offers. I usually forget that it can also be a long and arduous month battling winter weather at it’s worst. And it’s been bad. Window shopping with spring in mind is a favorite activity this month to combat the winter blues… or at least it helps a little!
I love finding items that feel FRESH this time of year and hint at spring but that also work for NOW. Soft hues that work on their own or layered are what I have my eye on. Soft and inviting pieces that are a little brighter than the usual fall and winter wear are just what I am craving right now. Here are some GORGEOUS new arrivals with just that mood in mind.
pink half sleeve sweatshirt, space dyed sweater, girl jeans, heart necklace, sneakers, tan loafers, white blouse, quilted coat, brown button cardigan, ribbed turtleneck sweater, gingham tote, velvet headband, frayed hem jeans
I rarely resolve to work out more for the New Year, but I am more inspired to stock up on a few new pieces for my fitness wardrobe in the dead of the winter. It’s a small sliver of joy. This year I am resolving to WALK more which unfortunately involves the treadmill… I would love to be able to do it outside but the weather doesn’t usually play along this time of year. Walking is so refreshing for me and I always feel my best when I’m getting my 10,000 steps regularly. 2020 taught me to walk out the stress and the tension and it’s not only good for your body… it’s been amazing for my mind too. I’ll blast music or listen to a podcast or sometimes just tune into nature (when outside) and just leave the problems of the world behind.
But whether you are walking more, meeting up with friends as accountability partners or just staying with your usual fitness schedule… some new workout outfits always make the process a little more fun! Here are some really fun looks I pulled together – I hope you find some inspiration here!
(above) Joggers and cozy layers make for the perfect running around town look… or to meet with your new workout buddy to start the year right!
(above) Go BOLD in bright pinks and a monochrome look to get motivated to feel your best by spring! I love this ensemble… so cute!
(above) Chic and sleek this fun look is perfect for meeting a bestie for a walk or hitting up some low intensity yoga to start the year on a zen note.
