The holidays are a great time to spoil the special ladies in your life… today I’ve rounded up some really beautiful gifting ideas for aunts, grandmothers, sisters, fellow moms or even some ideas that you might want to drop to your husband.
Beautiful and high functioning homewares like the our place pan (we own and love!) & perfect pot (on my wishlist!) or the Dyson cordless vacuum (honestly, life changing) make chores and dinner time so much more enjoyable. A beautiful scrabble set, pink wine glasses or personalized packing cubes make the ideal gift for the impossible to shop for on your list this year. Small indulgences like these slippers (I own and love!), this leopard print blanket (a favorite in our house) or ribbed scarf are thoughtful gifts for the homebodies and cozy-addicts. For the gal that has everything I suggest this candle with a carousel or the AD coffee table book, both of which are iconic and luxurious without going overboard. This necklace set, is the perfect affordable gift for a coworker or friend or make it personal with a monogrammed bracelet.
There is something for all the ladies on your list here…
Today I’m bringing you a huge round up of all my husbands favorites… with a few extras thrown in. It can be so tough to find the perfect gift for the guys in our lives. From your uncles to your husband to your brothers… I know my husband is super particular and always says he doesn’t need anything. So it’s a tricky situation for gift buying. Since my husband is so particular and loves to research endlessly before buying… his favorites are pretty dependable.
From his MOST favorite joggers and fitness shorts (he owns multiples of each, which is always a good sign) to the sneakers he loves and wears the most (I bought him his first pair and he doubled down and got a second he loves them so much!). You can’t go wrong with anything YETI like a new tumbler or a cooler which yes, are pricey but after years of owning both – so worth it. For the winter he is sure to love this hooded sweatshirt (a weekend staple for my husband) or this cashmere sweater (great for casual work days or date nights). My husband just LOVES his solo stove and it’s gotten an incredible amount of use. Really you could use it all year! I thought that this beer flight kit would be the perfect gift for the beer enthusiast and it’s super affordable too. And lastly, personalized gifts like this Dopp kit or watch case are always meaningful gifts that stand the test of time.
Whatever you choose for the men in your life this holiday season, I hope this guide is helpful!
joggers, coffee pour over system, sneakers, monogrammed watch case, personalized Dopp kit, beer flight kit, solo stove, yeti cooler, yeti tumbler, mens cashmere sweater, hooded sweatshirt, fitness shorts, grey merino top, puffer coat
Teens can be so difficult to buy for… they kind of want everything and nothing, you know? And of course, it’s hard to hit that perfect note of making it something that is practical that they will use and enjoy AND that has that “hip” vibe that shows them you are paying attention to what’s important to them. My kids are pretty keen to realizing when I bought them something that “I” thought they would like versus buying them something “the teen” actually wants. You know? And while I’m not above an uber practical gift like this hatch alarm clock (that will fingers-crossed make mornings easier) or this personalized Dopp kit for their sports bag or keeping extra items on hand in their locker… I always want to choose a few things that will surprise and delight them and say “I see you.” For any sneaker-head in your life this sneaker book is sure to speak your teenagers language. My son is obsessed with all things Tokyo right now so this lego architecture set will really get him excited. After a tough year last year I plan on making him a personalized photo book with some fun memories from THIS year now that it’s back to mostly normal again. Trendy items like this Adidas sweatshirt and these crazy tie dye socks are always fun for teens. Lounge clothes like pj joggers and slippers are always under our tree for the kids since usually they have grown out of last years versions and it’s extra nice to have some new lounge pieces over the winter break. A lot of guys like grown up toys like this camera drone or a remote control car for a fun winter break activity with friends. And lastly, stocking my son up on cold weather gear is always a successful gift too… this ribbed hat and pullover jacket are his favorite outdoor brand.
I hope you find something for the teen boys in your life here!
sneaker book, hatch alarm clock, star projector, photo printer, personalized photo book, camera drone, pj joggers, slippers, sneakers, Adidas sweatshirt, tie dye socks, pullover jacket, ribbed hat, lego architecture set, personalized Dopp kit, remote control car
Today I’m kicking off my GIFT GUIDES for the holiday season… I’m so excited to share these as I have been working on perfecting the lists for a few weeks now. All the gifts will be items my family member (or myself) own and love or some things that are on their wishlist this year.
Today we are digging into TEEN GIRLS! All of these items are items my daughter owns and loves or a few things on her wishlist this year. Items like a hat or a half zip sherpa are practical and fun for teens. I always love doing a few beauty items too since my daughter is very into skin care and makeup right now. This glossier makeup set is perfect for teens and is a brand they just love. Pair it with a caboodle and a face washing headband for the perfect themed gift. This year I’m gifting a personalized photo book to each of my kids highlighting some fun events from this past fall now that life is more normal for teens. Items like pj pants and slippers are always under the tree in our house and our kids always look forward to new versions of each for the year after they’ve grown out of the previous years. Waking up is HARD to do in our house and while my kids have used a few different types of alarm clocks, we haven’t had great luck with any of them – this year I’m splurging on the hatch alarm clock for them for the gentle wake up light and the natural sounds for falling asleep. It’s maybe a boring gift for them, but hopefully one they will enjoy for years in the future AND one that will make my life a little easier in the morning. These monogrammed zip pouches (or similar) are great for backpacks, sports bags and sleepovers to keep their items tidy and not headed to the lost and found. If you want a few splurge items for the girls in your life my daughter has requested a Kendra Scott piece (I love this heart necklace for her) and she loves my MJ camera bag and has hinted she would like one for herself. All the girls love these sneakers and my daughter has them in two colors and wears them a lot – a fun new color way would be very welcome under the tree. If you need an inexpensive slam dunk gift this star projector is a favorite in our house. Perfect for making homework a ‘total vibe’ or for sleepovers.
I hope you find something here that the teenage girl(s) in your life will love!
